In the Dronfield Hall Barn

NBroid Embroidery and Needlecraft taster Workshop

My name is Nikita Boot and in 1992 I went to Hampton Court Palace in London for 2 years and studied traditional embroidery at the Royal School of Needlework. I am now a professional embroiderer and I run a successful embroidery business creating bespoke items along with business & club logo’s in machine embroidery. My passion is still hand embroidery and I love to teach small groups passing on my knowledge at NBroid in Renishaw.

At the Dronfield Arts Festival I will have some of my finished work from the RSN on display and I will be demonstrating various traditional embroidery techniques throughout the weekend along with the Dronfield Arts Festival tapestry that I have been creating with the children of Westbourne School for the Dronfield Hall Barn.

NBroid Workshop:

If you have ever thought “Oh I’d like to have a go at that…. but it looks too difficult!” then don’t put it off any longer…. come along and join my embroidery taster workshop. It’s aimed at the complete beginner from children to adults – We will be learning a few stitches in a relaxed atmosphere and you will have a smaller sampler to take away with you!

Due to the size of the group I advise that children under the age of 12 are accompanied by an adult.
